Plot One.>
There had always been little myths and legends floating around Richfield, dating back before the city's erection back in the 1830's. Most of these were forgotten while a few select ones have been kept around into the present day due to the popularity with the tourists. What isn't known, is that all of those myths had been true at one point and although they had been forgotten, they haven't returned the favor even if they remain out of sight. Due to the wall created between the Seen and Unseen worlds, there has been little choice but for the creatures, beings, and monsters to remain invisible and intangible for the most part... That is, until the cracks began to form in the wall....
Forestview Asylum... It is nice, neat, and well kept on the outside but within the building lays many secrets and dark corners. Due to the fact that the asylum has been working on different methods for mental recovery since it opened seventy years ago, there has been plenty of instances where some of these experimental methods have caused accidental damage to the wall between the Seen and Unseen worlds. Where some of these methods made some of the patients become actual Conductors, changing them forever and potentially causing a reaction strong enough for any children they might have had after, to have been equally effected...
It was such experiments and reactions that led to the birth of the first Crossbreed in Richfield: Brendon Mc Tenner. He was not only the first Crossbreed, but he had been a patient in Forestview Asylum and a subject of some of the experimental methods for mental repair about fifty years ago. After having been given a clean bill of mental health, he had been discharged from the asylum and became the lighthouse keeper. Eventually, he inherited the building and became it's new owner. Twenty five years ago, an event that had been categorized as a mass homicide in the police records, occurred. Brendon Mc Tenner's family was mercilessly slaughtered and Brendon himself had disappeared. The lighthouse has been closed since then and since then it has been a popular source of ghost stories amongst the resident children.
It is this lighthouse that the wall is the most fragile in and where some of the Unseen occasionally seem to be able to slip through. It is due to this that several Enforcers have been stationed in Richfield. There hasn't been any obvious activity so no extreme measures have been taken involving the Seen world. All seems quiet except for the random bout of paranoia from the people deemed sane. Within the asylum, the residents are expected to have odd behaviors and rantings so nothing said is taken seriously.
